Víkingur Reykjavík unveiled a new home kit for the 2022 season in collaboration with fashion designer Bergur Guðnason and Iceland's cup champion, Halldór Smára. The kit features the Víkings logo with four red stripes and three black stripes, resembling the design on the new jersey. However, this year, the black stripes fade towards the chest, providing the jersey with a fresh and modern appearance. Víkingur Reykjavík has also taken a sustainable approach by incorporating eco-friendly materials in the construction of their new kit.

The new jerseys are made from recycled plastic bottles, signifying the team's dedication to environmental responsibility. 

Each jersey incorporates 13 bottles, showcasing the commitment to waste reduction and sustainable practices.
